Wedding Preparations

My baby sister is getting married!  She has found her Mr., and they will tie the knot in October.  Yes, I know October is coming soon.  That means we have lots and lots of things to do.  This last weekend, my family all converged at my house to work on wedding stuff.  We worked hard, and we worked all weekend long, but it was fun, and in my opinion we got lots done!

We made the list for the caterer, decided on table centerpieces, we made over 80 decorated jar candle-holders, and we decided on serving pieces for the food.  The list could go on!  My job this weekend was to create the bridal party bouquets.  We aren't using flowers, so it wasn't as easy as walking into the florist and picking some flowers.  I made 7  bouquets using buttons, beads, pins, rhinestones, felt, toole, ribbon, and paper.  Are you wondering what I ended up with?  Take a look:

And here are all 7 together on a display rack:

The fabric on the outside is felt flowers, complete with a different center for each one!  The pictures don't really do them justice because I think they turned out beautifully...even though I did make them myself!

I hope they are exactly what Kellye wants, and that her day is a beautiful representation of the love she will share with her beau forever.

On a side note, I absolutely LOVE crafting and creating.  I love taking an idea and making it a reality.  I love working on a project, and seeing it complete!  I've got to find a way to cash in on my fun!

They are beautiful and the pictures do not do them justice just wish everyone could see how great you did. Not only that but they make such a nice keepsake for the girls! MOM
