She's growing up. My little girl is growing up, and becoming a young lady. Just this week, her sweet smile has changed from this...

to this...

It seems like every day she is asking questions and learning new things. She is reading on a 5th-6th grade level, and devours books like they are candy. She thinks they are candy...brain candy! I hope her love of reading lasts forever.
I'm excited to see the little lady that she is becoming...hearing her interact with adults, using her best manners makes me smile. I hear her say "Yes Ma'am" and "No Ma'am", "Please" and "Thank You". I see her help other children when they need a hand, with a tender heart and kind words she responds to their needs. I see her praise others for their accomplishments, big and small, and I see her feel true joy for others' successes. I look at all of this, and I feel so very blessed. I am blessed because she is precious and I cannot take any of the credit for it. By God's love and grace, she is becoming a fabulous little lady, and I am so proud to call her mine...my sweetest firstborn daughter!
I don't know what the future holds for Miss Natalie...she can be anything she wants to be. My prayer for her is that she listens to the Spirit as it guides her to fulfill her purpose. I pray that she finds joy and satisfaction no matter what God calls her to. Whether she cleans houses or designs them, whether she raises and trains children of her own, or teaches other people's children, whether she lives in a mansion or a cardboard box, I pray that God is the center of her world.

Yep, she's lost another tooth!
