Cute Valentine Treats

I love finding unique ideas, and when I found this idea on another blog, I knew it was for me! I was so excited to gather my supplies and get started making these adorable name valentines.
Here are the cast of characters:

Assorted Valentine Paper (or any paper really!)
Scissors
Double Sticky Tape
Pencil
Letter Stickers (You can find these in the scrapbook section of the store)
Black or White Cardstock
Pretzel Bags (Missing from the picture)
Ribbon (Missing from the picture...hey, I'm not perfect!)
Hershey Nuggets Candy
First, you will want to cut your paper into strips to wrap the candy. Mine ended up being about 1"x2". I used double sided paper because it was what I had, but you wouldn't necessarily have to.

Then, use the double sticky tape to wrap the Hershey Nuggets with the strips of paper. It will look like this:

Keep cutting the strips and wrapping your candy until you have a good sized stack:

Then, count out the number of candies you need, and attach the letter stickers, one per candy, spelling out the recipient's names.
Cut the cardstock into strips approximately 2 1/2" wide and 8 1/2" long. Use the double stick tape to secure your wrapped candies to the cardstock strip. It will look like this:

Then, simply slide the strip with the candies into a pretzel bag, and use your ribbon to tie up the top!

Voila!! Adorable, personalized Valentine Treats! I love these, and more importantly, Natalie loves them and cannot wait to give them to her teachers and friends :)

I stumbled upon this post and saw these adorable Valentine cards! I thought they were so cute, and I loved the fact that they were homemade!
Nathaniel helped me make these Valentine cards for the kids to give to their friends. They were fairly simple to make, and I think they turned out super cute! The key is to know someone who is really good at the techy stuff...someone who can alter the pictures a little bit to make them look like you want them to. It is super nice to be married to my left brained, techy hubby!
Here is what we made....

I LOVE Levi's face in this picture! He likes to pose for the camera, and every time Nathaniel would take a picture, he would make another new face...each one funnier than the last!

Just take a cute picture of your child with their arm up in the air like they are holding something...then once you print them out, make small slits above and below their little fist and slide the stick of a lollipop through. Cute with a capital "C"!!!
Happy Valentines Week!
