First Day...

...in the First Grade! We have been walking around singing those words for several weeks...we simply used the V3ggie Ta1es song that talks about first aid in the f1rst grade, and changed the words. Even Levi sings along.

So I have just returned from picking up Natalie from her first day in the first grade. Apparently a good day was had by all. Her teacher was still smiling, and so were the children. I'd say that must mean things went well :)

We stood by our traditions from last year, with a new charm for her charm bracelet and breakfast at Chick-f1l-a. She looked adorable in her uniform, and was proud to carry her backpack and lunch box in with her this morning.

Check back later and I will try to post some pictures...and maybe even some comparison photos so you can guess what is different from last year's first day!

I can't believe my baby girl is a first grader!!

I know how you feel, but only tomorrow you will look at her and wonder why she is asking for the car to go to a friends house! She's in high school. Time flies, enjoy!
