Weird? Who me?!

I have been challenged to list six weird things about myself on this here 'ol blog. As I sit here beginning to type, I'm thinking this may not be very hard! Oh, well, I've never claimed to be normal...me being weird gives others something to talk about!
1. I am terrified of fire! I have never been in a fire, but for some reason I am totally paranoid about it. Nathaniel even says I may have some obsessive-compulsive behavior problems when it comes to this. Yes, I touch each burner on the stove before I leave the house...even if I have not cooked on it that day! Go ahead...laugh! My college roomy, Diane, used to tease me. She would be the one driving, and would wait until we got all the way across town and then exclaim that she thought she had left a ziploc bag on the toaster! I would PANIC and try to get her to turn around and drive back so we could check it out, but she would never do it because she knew she was just kidding me! It worked every time though!
2. Relating to my fire paranoia, I also unplug everything before we go out of town. Yes, this includes lamps, the microwave...everything!
3. Instead of making meatloaf in a loaf, I make it in balls on a cookie sheet. It just tastes better that way!
4. I buy my Christmas wrapping paper in colors that coordinate with my couches and other living room decor! There is something about it all coordinating that makes me so happy :)
5. I wear glasses...but only when they look cute with my outfit. Is that weird, or just vain?!
6. Well, some think that it is weird that we continue to celebrate birthdays for our two children who have gone on to Heaven, but I see it as a healthy remembrance for two people we love dearly. Some think it is weird that we talk about these babies daily, especially with Natalie and Levi, but we see it as a way to teach them about life, death, Heaven, and the joy that is waiting for us when we see them again. In fact, Natalie is not only comfortable talking about her brother and sister, but LOVES it! She loves feeling a part of something bigger than this life on earth.
7. Okay, I know this is seven, but I wanted to add that I am weird because...I like to dip my cheetos in mustard! Yep, you read that right...cheetos in mustard! You should really try it sometime!
So what do you think? Do any of my oddities surprise you? And what about you, Denise and Sarah, what are your weird traits? Inquiring minds want to know!:)
And thanks, Shelley, this was really fun!

The fire thing is CRAZY!! And unplugging everything before leaving town? That would take me SO long. I don't anything else to make me leave later than we already do to go out of town. 4 kids and a dog is PLENTY!! I guess you are used to it though. I'll have to try the Cheetos thing. I like mustard AND cheetos. We'll see how it goes.
Ah the good ol'days! Sorry for the torment, but as my dad always said, "If I don't give you a hard time, you might think I didn't like you." And you know I love you bunches!
